I admire long lasting relationships. I really do.
I've got a wide range of friends who have been through some of the shittiest things you can go through. Everything from abuse (physical and verbal), cheating, non communication, long distance, heartbreaks, you name it - I've heard it.
Now a days it's rare (as far as what I've came across) to find a healthy relationship.
Is this because we are so self busy that we no longer tend to nurture our relationships?
What makes a relationship work?
Personally I think trust and communication are the two main factors that will either make you and/or break you. I want to emphisis communication, because trust is something that one got to work with and different people are at different levels of trust.
My point with this post is the title. Is a relationship worth it?
I mean, do you really want to be stuck in a relationship that isn't going anywhere just for the sake of being in one? That is just one thing I can't understand.
Maybe because I've never been in love?
Story developing.....
