When I first heard Kanye West's album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" I was a bit skeptic to whether I'm approving this transformation Kanye is doing in his career. When I heard Chris Rock's skit at the end of "Blame Game", I approved. I even more so approved when I heard "Monster" feat Rick Ross, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver. THIS IS MY JAM! Bon Iver's contribution is amazing!

I'm probably one of many that prefer the "old/first" P!nk. The R&B P!nk.

I know she generated more with her rocky style, but I really liked her first album that she released.

She was still rocky and anti-man attitude was still there, lol.

What is Christmas really about?

Good question.

Some will say it's about presents, snow and good food. Others will say it's about gathering loved ones in one place and spend "quality time". A third party will say it's all about Jesus and religion.

Being in California, and the sun is actually shining, I am a bit confused.

It feels like April and the Christmas spirit that I'm brought up with doesn't seem to match.

I guess I don't have the answer to that question this year, but feel free to check back next year, same time.

What I can say tho, is that this song is always a must every December.

NFL vs NBA

Ever since moving to the US, I've tried my best to adapt to some of the "typical American stuff".

In-n-Out burger has by far been a big success ^_^

When it comes to sports, NBA really caught my attention the most, because I already knew about it from before.  As far as the most popular sports out here, NFL Football.... not so much.

Lately I've been hanging around football fans and what not and I've been able to pick up on the ruleing of the game. Many would say that I watch it for the player's sake, but franklin' I can't see them and they all have the same ass shape so there's no win for me in that department.

The sport is definitely more interesting when you know the rules and regulations, but I still have a long way to go.

Thank God for the commentators!

Today I watched the Colts my team alongside Giants and Bears) lose to the Cowboys in overtime and I've decided to hang in my football jersey and bring out the dusty Kobe 24.

When Keri Hilson was recognized as an recording artist summer 2009, I was totally feeling her music.

It was something different, and it was a "girl power" theme.

I recall an interview she had with the magazine 944, where she mentioned that women need to work harder than men in the music industry and nothing is giving to you for free etc. She also mentioned that, and I quote "I pity the woman who feels that they can just rely on their looks or whatever"..... Hmmm....

On December 14th 2010, her second album "No boys allowed" hits the shelves and again it has a "girl power" theme that every woman embraces. Well done Keri.

Last week her new music video "The way you love me" featuring Rick Ross "leaked" out the dirty version and got x amounts of hits within a day.

I think Keri is a very beautiful lady with more talent writing hits rather than delivering, but c'mon son....

you know damn well it's all about looks and that's the only reason she is still sumwhat' relevant today.

Image and sex sells today so why not just confess?... It's all we're asking from ya girl.

From what I can recall, she is always semi nude in her music videos and phto spreads.

It really doesn't matter if you like Beyonce's music or not.

It's about delivery. What she has done in her career.

She has a powerful voice, she works hard, you can't even clown her even if you wanted to. Yeah I hear a lot of people (hi Chris lol) say that she went from singing about your man paying your bills to independent women anthem. If you actually listen to "Bills, Bills Bills" then you would know that she asks for the man to pay the bills if he is using her car without filling up the gastank, or after calling his mama and all his boys and the bill comes all of a sudden he be acting dumb.... I must say that I'm really proud of Sweden and it's music scene.

Swedish Housemafia, Robyn and Tim Berg are one of few that really paved way for Sweden in the house-music industry. Alongside H & M, IKEA, Volvo and Elin Woods, I see a powerhouse reform. (ook maybe not, lol)

A while back, whilst watching "Hello Goodmorning" remix with Nicki Minaj, I couldn't help but notice her barbie pink lipstick. My gut told me it was a MAC lipstick but ofcourse there was nowhere to find out.

I went to the MAC store and found a similar shade, but not quite the one.

On yesterday's episode of Wendy Williams, where Nicki was guest, it was announced that Nicki is coming out with a candy pink shade lipstick for MAC! DING DING DING!

Last weekend me and my friend and his mum decided to make a road trip to no other than

city of San Francisco. For those who know me well, knows I love NYC.

San Fran is a west coast version of NYC... if that makes sense?

Anyways, I love and hate the city. It's def different from L.A yet similar.

Loved the scenery, disliked the weather. Ugh... windy ass town! I almost blew off the bridge. *shrug*

If you haven't been to San Fran, I recommend you make a road trip with fun people or else it's just gonna be a long painful trip, lol.

I'm blessed with good health and haven't been to a hospital other than to visit or so,

so this is my first time going to a hopsital, in the US.

When I think of American hospitals I always have "ER" in mind for an odd reason ^^

Anyways, hospitals stink old people. So gross, and I hope I don't have any more

ill friends, cause that ain't a place to be. STANK!
With that said I'll probably skip dating a doctor.... yeah that ain't gonna work.

Gotta shout out all people that work at hospitals. Supa creepa mode!

If you're ever in New York and want to eat at a dope Caribbean place then I highly recommend you go to Negril's Village. They have a dope menu and you get a nice lil' soup starter while you wait for your food. It's like you don't need anything after the soup cos it's so bomb.

4th of July

As many times as I've been to the States, I've never managed to be here during 4th of July.

(USA independence day fro those who don't know)

This year I am in sunny California for the holiday.

There is so much hype about this day but as a non-american I don't feel affected by it.

I think a great place to be to celebrate this day would be in the south or midwest.

The "home" feeling ain't it in L.A-area, lol.

Dear Sweden..

Today (technically yesterday) is MIDSUMMER!

Weeoowee... it's a Swedish holiday that's day you just get drunk, more or less.

It has some Christian history to it (hence the cross-pole) but like most holidays, it's just

another reason to celebrate, eat and drink!

If I'm not misstaken it's also a celebration of the day of the yaar that has most daylight...

Anyways, me living in L.A and not really getting to celebrate midsummer (not that I used to go hard when I was in Sweden but still) I came to think of things I miss about Sweden.

Things that I took for granted over there such as a power shower, a nice stove/cooker,

healthy (ier) food, the bus (yes the bus), walking, TAPWATER!!!, oh dear the list goes on.

As much as you bore me Sweden.... I got nothing but love for you at the end of the day!
